We had a WONDERFUL week in the Missionary Training Center.  Every day was informative, useful, and inspiring.  This is our third time in the MTC and the very best.

It was great to see our grandson Jaron Pruett who left for Tahiti the day we arrived.

We got to have lunch with him and his zone.  The food in the MTC is always plentiful.

Of course we had to have our picture taken by "the map" pointing to Mexico.

We will serve along with another couple as executive secretaries to the Area Presidency in Mexico City. Three general authorities, Elders De Hoyos, Piper, and Valenzuela, supervise all 1.3 Million members, 228 stakes, 34 missions, and 12 temples in Mexico.

To start with Michelle with another sister will help process all recommendation for missionaries for all of Mexico to make sure they are complete and in proper English before they are sent to the US for determination of a mission assignment.

I along with another senior Elder will help prepare information on all brethren recommended to serve as bishops.  This will include tithing history and attendance history, etc.  The area presidency will review these one by one.

Once every 3 months the 12 couple missionaries couples in the area office go somewhere in Mexico to attend the temple.  We will arrive in Mexico on Dec 12th and on Dec 18th we will leave for a 2 day trip to Vera Cruz Mexico to attend the temple and see the sites.

We are excited but a little sad to leave the family.
